There is no cost to Westmark students or to Parent Volunteers for the Fall Festival BBQ lunch and festivities.
Bake Sale Items and Westmark Wear can be purchased with cash or credit.
Wristbands for lunch and festival booths for parents, siblings, etc. are available for purchase and will be sold that day for $5.00. (Cash or credit accepted).
SPIRIT WEEK: OCTOBER 8-12
Show your LION PRIDE all week by dressing in the daily themes
(must adhere to the Dress Code for Free Dress days)
- Monday: Pajama Day
- Pajamas must not restrict movement of any kind
- Students should be able to go about regular dailyactivities without being inhibited by their clothing
- Pajamas must not be see-through
- No Slippers
- Tuesday: Disney Day
- Dress as your favorite Disney character or wear your favorite Disney character t-shirt.
- Wednesday: Wacky Wednesday
- Crazy Hair and Mismatched Clothes
- Thursday: Sports Day
- Wear your Favorite Jersey or Sports Uniform
- Friday: Spirit Wear Day
- Wear your favorite Westmark Spirit Wear!
We still need parent volunteers to help with bake sale, supervising the inflatables, WPO uniform booth, field games, BBQ/Lion's Grill and more! Come show your grill skills!
LION'S GRILL BBQ LUNCH
There will be an abbreviated class schedule on Friday, October 12 due to Fall Festival activities. FRESH LUNCHES will NOT be served on this day. Every Westmark student will be given a Fall Festival meal of their choice that includes either a hamburger, cheeseburger, veggie burger, or all beef hot dog, chips and a drink. There is no cost to Westmark students (or Parent volunteers) for the BBQ lunch and festivities. Students should bring a snack to eat during nutrition.
If you have dietary restrictions or you do not want to participate in the grill lunch, then you must bring your own lunch from home. No other lunch will be served on this day.
LION'S GRILL BBQ NEEDS HELP
A special call out to Westmark Grilling aficionados! We need YOUR help staffing the Fall Festival Lion's Grill BBQ. The grilling starts at 10:30 am to prepare grilled hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, and veggie burgers for over 500 students, parents, teachers, and staff. HALLOWEEN COSTUME EXCHANGE
We are collecting clean, gently used Halloween Costumes at morning drop off through Friday, October 12. Costumes can also be dropped off in the designated bins in the front office. During the Fall Festival, children will be allowed to pick one costume to take home. For questions or more information contact 7th Grade parent Isabelle Fox,email@example.com.
FALL FESTIVAL BAKE SALE NEEDS YOU
We are encouraging "grab & go" packaging for your delicious cookies, brownies, muffins and other delicious treats.
Please NO: nuts, whipped cream or gooey messy toppings.

We are delighted to inform you that the city has granted us a ONE DAY SPECIAL PARKING PERMIT to park on Killion Street for this day only. This means parents, families and guests may park on the south side (campus side) of Killion Street WHILE ATTENDING THE FALL FESTIVAL. Please do not park on the north side of Killion Street as it is a No Stopping Anytime zone and you may be ticketed. Please adhere to all posted public parking restrictions and notices.
FESTIVAL GAMES AND ACTIVITIES SCHEDULE
Last Call for all festival games, booths, and activities will be at 2:15 pm; all festival games, booths and activities will close promptly at 2:30 pm. Students will be required to return to their homeroom or Advisory classrooms at 2:30 pm to pick up their belongings. Once dismissed at the end of school, they will proceed to bus transportation/carpool pickup/designated pickup area.
STUDENT END OF DAY DISMISSAL
The Fall Festival will end promptly at 2:30 pm. All students must return to their homeroom/Advisory classroom at the end of the Festival. Students may NOT leave with their parents directly from the Festival. Teachers will dismiss students as usual for regular afternoon pickup. DETAILS REGARDING FALL FESTIVAL AFTERNOON PICKUP WILL BE SENT NEXT WEEK.
Once students are dismissed from their classrooms atregular pickup time, parents, families or guardians may pick up their child up in carpool line (See adjusted carpool pickup layout below)OR they may meet their child at the designated dismissal pickup area and walk with their child to exit campus through the courtyard and the double doors of Building C (see campus layout below) out onto Killion Street. All pedestrians must exit through the double doors in Building C for safety reasons. Faculty and staff will be available to direct as necessary. For safety reasons, students and parents will NOT BE allowed to walk off campus via the front main gate carpool entrance/exit.
All regular morning, 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm late bus routes will run as scheduled. Afternoon bus pickups will take place on Killion Street. All students riding the bus must exit campus through the double doors in Building C (See campus layout above). Faculty and staff will be available to guide students, monitor safety, and check kids on to the bus.
