Lainie (Maslan) Donnell ’96 Reunites with Ms. Barrows on Campus

Landmark West alum Lainie Maslan, Class of 1996, returned to the campus recently, where she got to say hello to longtime faculty member Ms. Barrows.

Lainie remembers her former teacher fondly: “Ms. Barrows was one of my first teachers. I remember her red hair and her sweet patient nature .… Ms. Barrows created [a classroom that] was warm and welcoming, and I just remember feeling safe.”

Lainie visited Westmark to tour the new Lower School Campus. The new learning environment is of professional interest to her since today she is now an educational therapist dedicated to guiding students, parents, and professionals as they navigate the world of learning and executive function.
