Signature Programs

After School Enrichment (ASE)

ASE Spring 2019

The 8-week session begins April 15 and runs through the week of June 3.

Classes run from 3:15-4:15 pm. An after school staff member will drop-off/pick-up students to/from their enrichment class. Students participating in bus transportation will join After School Supervision and will ride the 5:00 pm late bus.

Students are enrolled on a first-come, first-served basis.

If a class fails to reach required enrollment, it will be cancelled. If cancelled, parents will be notified as soon as possible.

Classes will be billed to your student account after the first class. If you choose to withdraw from a class, you must do so prior to the second class. Withdrawals after the second class will not be refunded. There are no refunds for absences or missed classes due to athletic practices/games.

Course prices vary dependent on number of classes. Some courses have fewer classes due to observed holidays.

ASE Class Descriptions & Signups

Debate Club with Ms. French - $210
Topics are offered to students who then split into teams and work together to explain their point of view. Examples include: Are Saturdays better than Sundays?
Do cats or dogs make better pets? Students are guided through receptive listening, flexible thinking and sometimes find themselves changing their minds
and reframing their opinions! This class provides a fun platform for developing perspective taking skills, executive function, and teambuilding.

Exploring Art through Poetry with Ms. Mael - $240
Join us for a creative and relaxing afternoon where students will create drawings, paintings, sculptures, prints and mixed media art work inspired by poetry from the book Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein.

Core Balance with Ms. French - $240
This class will work the entire body to improve core strength, endurance, and flexibility. Strengthen and lengthen your muscles through a variety of exercises using resistance bands, balance balls and more. Learn breathing techniques, postural alignment and whole body conditioning combinations. We’ll also explore wellness practices you can use outside of class that target mind-body connection and focused energy –the foundation of a healthy you, inside and out! All levels welcome.
