MIDDLE SCHOOL: GRADES 6-8
▪
ignite passions

There is something uniquely and undeniably special about the Middle School years. As a student in grades 6-8, when you are too grown up to be small and too small to be grown up, the feeling of potential can feel almost electric, and sometimes overwhelming.

As adults, we recognize the challenges of transitional years. Vulnerability and sensitivity can be hallmarks of this stage, but the supportive Westmark environment provides learners with the tools they need both developmentally and academically to meet the challenges they face. Middle School is also an important time of significant growth in abstract thinking, and in character development. Brains grow so quickly in early adolescence!

It is a privilege to work with students as they develop their understanding of themselves as learners (metacognition) and prepare themselves for high school and beyond.
