Is Westmark Right for Your Child?

Westmark School educates students in Grades 2–12 who are among the 1 in 5 who think and learn differently. Each with a distinct learning style, our Westmark Lions bring their bright minds and unique strengths to the community.

Applicants to Westmark must have a language-based learning difference (LD). Our students have a main diagnosis of one or more of the following:

  • Dyslexia—An LD that affects one's ability to read
  • Dyscalculia—An LD that affects one's mathematical abilities
  • Dysgraphia—An LD that affects one's ability to write
  • Auditory or visual processing disorder
  • Other specific learning disability (SLD)

Westmark students may also have one or more of the following:

  • Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
  • Executive functioning disorder
  • Expressive/receptive language disorder
  • Non-verbal learning disability

With the opening of the new Lower School Campus, Westmark School is pleased to open Grade 1 in the 2024–2025 school year. We look forward to engaging the families of rising first graders!

If your child fits this profile and has areas of strength and need that are not being met in a traditional classroom, Westmark—with more than forty years of experience and expertise in language-based LD—may be the right fit for your family!

We look forward to hearing from you to discuss how we might unlock your child’s potential.

My daughter was at a really great charter public school, but it wasn't working for her. At Westmark, they see where each child is in their learning and put together a plan for that child to succeed.
