About Our Partnerships
Westmark School is dedicated to developing key partnerships that broaden our expertise in LD education, bridge neuroscientific research to classroom practice, and ultimately foster student growth and achievement.
We are honored to collaborate with renowned experts and leading institutions to stay on the cutting edge of neurodiversity research.
UCSF Dyslexia Center
The mission of the University of California - San Francisco (UCSF) Dyslexia Center is to eliminate the debilitating effects of developmental dyslexia while preserving and even enhancing the relative strengths of each individual. In addition, it aims to develop best practice protocols to implement individually catered interventions in classrooms throughout the country.
UCSF Dyslexia Center is excited to partner with Westmark for the research, development, and implementation of the most innovative assessment tools, educational strategies, and interventions to best serve neurodiverse learners and help them thrive.Maria Luisa Gorno-Tempini, M.D., Ph.D.

USC Mark and Mary Stevens Neuroimaging and Informatics Institute
The University of Southern California (USC) Mark and Mary Stevens Neuroimaging and Informatics Institute applies innovative imaging and information technologies to the study of the brain. Its interdisciplinary team investigates brain structure, function, and disease, using techniques such as mathematics, genomic analysis, and ultra-high-field MRI scanning.
USC's Mark and Mary Stevens Neuroimaging and Informatics Institute is pleased to collaborate with Westmark in further translating neuroimaging to better understand the genetic, cognitive, and behavioral differences and strengths of diverse learners. These findings would allow Westmark teachers to apply the best educational strategies for their students.Arthur Toga, Ph.D.
