Library
The mission of the Westmark Library is to provide an atmosphere where individual needs and intellectual curiosity can be pursued along with the development of skills, experience, and confidence. This will enable students to become life-long learners, researchers, and critical problem solvers in the rapidly changing information age. The librarian is dedicated to developing a collection that will support the curriculum, as well as reflect the diverse interests and needs of the Westmark community.

I have always imagined that Paradise will be a kind of a library.
The library provides a quiet haven for study and research on campus. Students at Westmark School have many library resources available to them. The library's collection of 15,000 volumes supports specific courses in the academic program with basic and supplemental texts, as well as key reference materials. The collection includes periodical subscriptions, numerous online databases, and a comprehensive media collection that includes videos, DVDs, CD's and audio books. All of our core literature books and textbooks are supported with auditory formats.
Computer workstations with full Internet access are available for students. Connections to eLibrary's research databases link students to thousands of online original source magazines and newspapers. Our 12 computer workstations include software tools for students to research, organize, write, and present class projects. The librarian assists students and faculty in finding materials and in using applied technologies. As a committed educator, the librarian teaches library skills instruction, as well as working individually with patrons on the research process.
