How many students are there? Hide

At any time, our student body is between 190 to 225 students in grades four through twelve with a teacher/student ration of 6:1

How do I know this is the right school for my child? Hide

If you have a bright motivated child who is struggling in a traditional classroom or who requires several hours of tutorial or educational therapy support each week, you should consider Westmark. We will help them understand their learning differences and regain their confidence and self esteem.

What kind of student are you looking for at Westmark? Hide

Westmark best serves motivated students with good intellectual potential who are experiencing academic and organizational difficulties due to diagnosed learning differences. Although it is an important goal for Westmark to build the self-esteem and academic confidence of all students, the school does not offer appropriate support for students with primary emotional, behavioral or social challenges.

Do you have an open house? Hide

No, we have no formal admissions open house events. We welcome parents to visit Westmark to learn more about our unique educational program and tour the campus. Please call the Admissions Office to schedule this visit.

Does my child have to take an entrance exam? Hide

There is no formal or standardized test required for admission.

Does my child have to have a diagnosis from a doctor to apply? Hide

In the process of being considered for admission each family must provide a complete psycho-educational diagnostic evaluation that represents the student’s current functioning.
