After School Learning Center
The After School Learning Center of Westmark School offers open admission to local students as part of our commitment to share our resources and serve the needs of children with learning differences in our community.
We accept students with average to high intellectual ability, second through twelfth grades, who are experiencing difficulty in traditional classrooms because their reading, spelling, writing and mathematical skills have not caught up with their thinking and problem solving capacities. Our warm and supportive program is based upon a dedication to individualized education and intensively addresses the basic skills that have previously held these students back.
The one-on-one sessions, before and after school, are one-hour in length and are available at 7:25 in the morning or afternoons starting at 2:45, 3:45 and 4:45. All Tutorials are taught by credentialed teachers.

After School Homework Class
Westmark offers an After School Homework Class for students in grades 8 through 12. Each class has a maximum of five students and is taught by a Westmark Grade Level Advisor or Department Head. Students have the opportunity to learn and apply important study skills such as time management, test preparation, use of the computer, organization of materials and content, and how to approach new concepts. Classes meet in the Library, giving students access to computers and assistive technology. During the class, students are guided to complete homework while learning and utilizing specific strategies.
